The Building Installation Technology Program combines theoretical and practical training to prepare technical personnel specializing in the design, installation, and maintenance of building installation systems. The curriculum includes basic courses such as sanitary installations, welding technology, and fundamental installation processes, as well as advanced courses like natural gas systems, heating systems, thermodynamics, piping, and renewable energy applications.

The program was established in 2019 under Iğdır Technical Sciences Vocational School and began admitting students in the 2019-2020 academic year.

Fields of Work:

Graduates are equipped with the knowledge and skills to work in areas such as sanitary installations, heating systems, natural gas systems, solar energy systems, and renewable energy applications.

Dual Major Program:
This program allows students to earn a bachelor's degree in another field of interest in addition to their main program. Students complete the courses of both programs and receive diplomas in both fields.

Minor Program:
The Minor Program enables students to take specific courses in a field outside their primary program. Upon completion, students receive an official certificate, which does not equate to a second bachelor's degree.

Graduates can work as sanitary installation technicians, natural gas system technicians, or heating system technicians. There are also emerging career opportunities in energy efficiency and renewable energy systems.

Employment Opportunities:

Graduates can find job opportunities in public and private sectors, construction companies, installation firms, or as entrepreneurs starting their own businesses.
